Let me tell you my story behind GroomerMap. Feel free to text me for cooperation or any further queestions.
I've always been driven by the desire to create what doesn't exist yet. Rather than following established concepts, I look for opportunities to challenge them, rethink them, and build something that genuinely moves an industry forward.
Before entering the grooming industry, I studied International Business in Vienna and spent several years creating premium customer experiences across different industries. Those experiences taught me that exceptional businesses are rarely built around products alone—they are built by connecting people, earning their trust, and creating experiences they remember.
When I entered the grooming world, I didn't want to build just another grooming salon. I wanted to redefine the experience for both pets and their owners. Inspired by the atmosphere of premium barbershops, I created a space where exceptional grooming was combined with outstanding customer care, comfort, and attention to detail. The concept quickly expanded with a second salon and, more importantly, an incredible team of talented professionals.
As the team grew, so did my responsibility to help them grow. Finding high-quality education and opportunities for continuous development became one of the biggest challenges. That need naturally led to the creation of Czech Grooming Academy, where we collaborate with leading Czech and international educators to help raise professional standards and inspire the next generation of professionals.
In 2025, after more than twelve years without an international grooming competition in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, we launched the first edition of GrooMasters Prague, an EGA-sanctioned international grooming competition that I proudly co-organise. Every year, the event brings together competitors, judges, educators, brands, sponsors, breeders, handlers, and professionals from across Europe. It became a place where the entire community could meet, learn, compete, and build lasting relationships.
And that's where one simple thought kept coming back to me.
For a few days, our community comes together. We learn from one another, celebrate achievements, discover new brands, and build meaningful relationships. Then the event ends, everyone returns home, and those connections slowly fade away.
I started asking myself one question:
What if our community could stay connected every day of the year?
That question became GroomerMap.
My vision is to make every professional in the pet industry visible. To create a place where experience, education, achievements, and passion can be seen, recognised, and trusted. A place where meaningful connections continue long after the event is over.
Because I believe the future of our profession isn't built by individuals working alone.
It's built by a community that grows together.
